The Timmann TU47 is a professional, hand-built tube microphone, that is our tribute to the original U47.

The microphone comes equipped with a premium K47 capsule, BV8 impedance transformer with large laminations and four coils, just like the original; this provides greater stability and efficiency in operation. The tube is NOS, hand-selected, and the passive components in both the microphone and the power supply are of superior quality, only from reputable brands.

For high efficiency and the lowest possible self-noise, this microphone uses a power supply that features two stabilization stages, a custom toroidal transformer with internal shielding, and a high-grade AC power IEC filter.
