The Timmann Elam 251 is a professional, hand-built tube microphone, a clone of the famous vintage Telefunken/Akg Elam 251.

The microphone is equipped with a premium CK12 capsule, a T14 impedance transformer, just like the original. The tube is a hand-selected 6072 type, and the passive components in both the microphone and the power supply are of the highest quality, sourced only from reputable brands.

For high efficiency and the lowest possible self-noise, this microphone uses a two-stage stabilization power supply, a custom toroidal transformer with internal shielding, and a high-quality IEC AC power filter.
